Project Harvest is a citizen science study that investigates rainwater, soil, and plant quality in communities near mining activity.
We created the project’s logo and identity, website, data visualizations, videos, instructional materials, and newsletters to share findings with the public.
We developed data visualization and report-back strategies with scientists, government stakeholders, and community health workers to make the environmental data more accessible and actionable.
After three years of data collection and analysis, the project culminated in an online platform that visualized the results and housed the interactive web applications we developed.
For participants without internet access, results were distributed through printed booklets mailed directly to their homes.
